The install decides how the window performs.

A good window installed badly will still leak air and water. What matters is how the opening is prepared, how the unit is flashed and sealed to the wall, and how the stucco or trim is finished around it afterward.

Omnix measures every opening, specifies products that meet California's energy code for replacement windows, and installs them to the manufacturer's written instructions so the product warranty stays valid. Because we are a general contractor, the stucco, drywall, trim and paint around the new units are part of the same job.

Your estimate lists each opening with its size, product, glass and operating style, so you can see exactly what is being ordered before anything is manufactured.

Do I need a permit to replace windows?

Many cities in Orange County and Los Angeles require a permit for window replacement, and California's energy code sets performance requirements for the new units. Omnix handles the permit where one is required.

How long does window replacement take?

Installation for most homes takes one to a few days. The longer wait is manufacturing, since windows and doors are built to order. Your estimate states the expected lead time.

What is the difference between retrofit and full-frame replacement?

A retrofit window fits inside the existing frame with little disturbance to the wall. A full-frame replacement removes the old frame entirely, which is the right choice when the frame or the surrounding wall is damaged.

My home is in an HOA. Can you still replace the windows?

Yes. Many associations require approval of the style and color before work starts. We provide the product information the association asks for.

Do you offer financing?

Financing options may be available through third-party lenders, subject to credit approval. Ask about current programs at your free estimate. All terms come from the lender in writing before you sign.
