The hard part of a kitchen is the sequence.

A kitchen remodel puts more trades into one room than any other project in a house: demolition, framing, plumbing, electrical, drywall, cabinets, counters, tile, paint and appliances. Each one depends on the one before it, and most kitchens that run late do so because nobody owned the sequence.

Omnix runs the whole job as the general contractor. You get one itemized estimate, one schedule and one point of contact, and the trades answer to us rather than to you. Cabinets and counters are ordered against field measurements, and the schedule you sign reflects their lead times.

Most kitchens take four to eight weeks of construction depending on scope and permitting. If opening a wall uncovers water damage or old wiring that has to be corrected, our restoration division handles it on the same contract.

Demolition through final punch list on a written schedule, with progress updates along the way.

How long does a kitchen remodel take?

Most kitchens take four to eight weeks of construction depending on scope, materials and permitting. Design, selections and ordering happen before that. You receive a written schedule before work begins.

Do I need a permit to remodel my kitchen?

Usually, yes. Moving or adding plumbing, gas, electrical or walls requires a permit in most cities. Omnix handles the permit and inspections.

Can I stay in the house during the remodel?

Most homeowners do. We set up dust containment, keep a clear path through the house, and tell you ahead of time which days water or power will be off.

Can you work with my designer or my own cabinet supplier?

Yes. We can build from your designer's plans or handle design in-house, and we will tell you up front how owner-supplied materials affect the schedule and warranty.

Do you offer financing?

Financing options may be available through third-party lenders, subject to credit approval. Ask about current programs at your free estimate. All terms come from the lender in writing before you sign.
